Jonathan Ghahreman is a cybersecurity leader and U.S. Marine Corps veteran with more than 18 years in security operations. He has built, run, and matured Security Operations Centers for global managed security practices, critical infrastructure, and enterprise clients across industries.
As Chief Information Security Officer, Jonathan owns PurpleSec’s internal security program, compliance readiness, and customer assurance. Because PurpleSec sells security, its own posture is part of the product. Jonathan sets the control standard and does the hands-on work behind it, from assessments and documentation to incident response.
He leads PurpleSec’s path to SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 42001, giving customers the confidence they expect before they buy. When a deal reaches security review or due diligence, Jonathan is the authority in the room. He also identifies and closes risk across the product, vendors, and operations, so the platform clients trust meets the same standard it enforces.
Jonathan also guides PurpleSec’s vCISO and security services practice, holding every client engagement to timely, exceptional delivery. He equips PurpleSec’s practitioners, sales, and marketing teams to speak with credibility to CISOs and executive buyers. His AI security charter practice gives clients a clear foundation for securing AI adoption and sets the base for PurpleSec’s expanded services.
